Outcome

A high end presentation folder of fabric swatches, showing repeat pattern designs, as printed onto fabric. For the construction of the folder I will draw on my book binding skills, gained from an evening class I took last year at LCC. The tutor extended an invitiation to use the facilities there. The designs will be printed onto fabrics. These fabrics will be mounted and these will be bound together in a way such that they can be removed and re-ordered. An example of this would be a ring binder, but hopefully a more elegant solution can be found.

The dimensions of the folder I expect to be 410x212mm

The front cover will have a gate fold (not the full width) that can be opened out to reveal information about the designs and photographs of them used in upholstery.
